How long does one jar last?
The lifespan of a jar depends on how often and where you use it. With daily facial use, one jar typically lasts between 6–8 weeks. If you're using it on larger areas of the body, you may use it more quickly.
Wait, beef fat? On my face?
Yes! Beef tallow has been used in skincare for generations. It contains naturally occurring fatty acids that closely resemble those found in our skin's protective barrier, helping to moisturize and support healthy-looking skin. When carefully purified and formulated, it provides rich nourishment without unnecessary additives.
Why is it unwhipped?
We intentionally leave our balm unwhipped to preserve its rich, concentrated texture. Whipping introduces air into the product, which can reduce the amount of balm in each jar and affect consistency over time. Our unwhipped formula delivers the same nourishing ingredients in their most concentrated form.
Why a glass jar?
We chose glass because it's durable, reusable, and better for preserving the quality of the formula. Unlike some plastics, glass doesn't react with skincare ingredients, helping maintain product integrity while also being a more environmentally conscious packaging choice.
